Dear Fellow Members:

Spring is here and the Club is almost read to go!

The following are important dates to put on your calendar:

- CLEAN UP DAY – Saturday, April 16th , 9:00 to 11:00 AM
Please bring your rakes (donuts and coffee will be served)
- OPENING DAY – Sunday, May 1st
- GENERAL MEETING – Monday May 2nd
Guest Speakers, David Winebrenner (on the topic of a new
Allstate Insurance program) and a representative from the
  USCG, with refreshments.
- OPENING PICNIC – Sunday, May 15th
- TAG AND SWAP SALE – Saturday, May 21st
   (Sorry, marine equipment only)
- MID SEASON PICNIC – Sunday, July 17th
- END OF SEASON PICNIC – Sunday, September 4th
- LOBSTERBAKE – Saturday, September 17th

A lot has happened since we closed the Club in the Fall. The various
Town Boards approved our Land Project, Phil Raymond’s team has
finished up the deck expansion, and the new kayak and canoe racks are
in position. In addition, the town is nearing completion on the updated
boat ramp.

Jim Baker and George Kelsey have been hard at work preparing the
Club for the 2005 season. Our water service is now on, and the piling
Contractor should be on site this week.

The Executive Board wishes to thank everyone who supported the
Club at the RTM Meeting during the discussion and voting on the
Land Project.

Lastly, a friendly reminder that all boat slips, kayak and sail racks,
Lockers and dinghy chain positions must be occupied by June 15th
to prevent reassignment.

Sincerely,

Tom Williams, Commodore
