You and your spouse are invited to attend the Annual Meeting of
the Darien Boat Club on Monday, November 7th at 7:00PM in the
main hall of the Piedmont Club.  A buffet meal will be served.

The purpose of the meeting will be to elect the proposed slate of
officers listed below and to enjoy an informal buffet meal with the
new officers.

The Nominating Committee wishes to announce the current slate
of officers for the calendar year 2005-2006.

The nominated officers are:

     Commodore:                Phil Raymond
     Vice Commodore:        John Keena
     Rear Commodore:       Chris Mangan
     Secretary:                    Glen Osberg
     Treasurer:                    Brian Lovegrove
     Financial Secretary:      Al Metayer

Remember:  The closing date has been set for Saturday,
November 5th.  With the end of the boating season fast
approaching, this is to remind you that all boats and brackets must
be off the docks by November 5, 2005.  This includes canoes,
kayaks and other small boats on club property.  Fines will be
incurred for non compliance.

I would like to thank the Board of Directors, Committee Chairmen
and RTM members who worked together over the past two years
to make the club what it is today.  I hope that all members
appreciate the amount of time and effort spent by these people to
keep the club on an even keel.  My best to all members who enjoy
our treasure on Long Island Sound.
