Dear Fellow Members:

I’m writing to clarify the Parks Permit (parking sticker) issue. The guards at the gate are being told by motorists, "I don’t need a beach sticker, I’m going to the Boat Club."

 

A sticker is not needed to visit the Boat Club as a pedestrian or as a bicyclist, but a season sticker or daily parking fee is required to enter the parking facility by motor vehicle.

The Town maintains the parking lots including the guard service for the benefit of all residents and charges fees to cover the costs. We share in that benefit so we support the enforcement of parking fees.

We ask that you honor our pledge to Parks & Rec to support their efforts to maintain safe, secure environments for all of us to enjoy.
