Dear Members, Progress continues at the Club. The kayak racks have been fixed and moved back into position. The temporary ramps have passed their first and second inspections are being decked. Hopefully in the next few days the green tarp will come off and work on the new door, roof and interior will begin. Water has been restored and Jim Baker and Bill Lowitz are power washing and fixing up the docks. Tyree (our gas repair contractor) has been on site and has started work on the gasoline system. We have met with the professional engineer regarding the deck replacement and the Town Departments involved and will continue to do so. Although the club house is “coming together” there is still quite a bit to be done. Much of that work will involve heavy machinery and delivery of material via large vehicles. We must continue to ask everyone respect the No Trespassing posting. No kayaks or boats will be allowed on the property or on the docks until an e-mail notification is sent out and it is posted on the web site. No one is permitted on the docks for any reason including working on their Frog Hooks, etc. There can be no exceptions. We will send out more e-mails and update the web site as work progresses. Also remember this summer footwear is required to be worn at the club.
