Dear Members, The docks have been moved in place and construction has started on the temporary access ramps. The permit documentation providing more detail on this is on the DBC Website. Hopefully pleasant weather conditions will prevail and continued repair efforts on the water systems, bathrooms, pump out station, electrical, and fuel systems will progress on a timely basis. No boats or kayaks can be accepted at the Club until you receive an e-mail or an update is posted on the web site, there can be NO EXCEPTIONS! As required by our insurance company, no trespassing signs have been posted to keep members out. This is necessary due to the construction efforts and hazardous debris that still need to be cleared from the property. Anyone found on the property will be asked to leave. We have engaged a professional Marine Engineer to begin the permit and rebuilding efforts for the replacement of the main deck. As a word of caution, please be sure to have footwear on at all times this summer at the Club due to small sharp objects and other debris buried in the sand.
