Dear Members, 

As a reminder, the Season End Picnic is Sunday, October 4th from 1-3pm.  Please feel free to bring a dessert. 

At the September 14th General Meeting, the Nominating Committee presented the following slate of officers for the 2009-2010 season as follows: 

Commodore               Chris Mangan
Vice Commodore       Dave Dever
Rear Commodore       Glen Osberg
Secretary                    James O’Brien
Treasurer                    Brian Lovegrove
Financial Secretary     Al Metayer 

Under Article IX of the By Laws, the slate of officers will be voted on at the November 2nd Annual Meeting.  Members may make additions or deletions to this slate as set forth under Section 2 of Article IX. 

The Club's closing date this year will be November 1st.   All slips, racks, chain, and lockers must be vacated by 5:00pm.  Slip holders should remove the hinged portion of their docking hardware by closing day.  Should you have any questions, please contact the Dock Masters at the club house. 

With the 2009 boating season coming to an end, this is my last newsletter as your Commodore.  It has been an honor to be at the helm for the past two years, and I wish to thank the staff and membership for being given this opportunity.  Best wishes to you and your family.
